A question about amazon workmail

Hi Amazon Community,

I cant transfer my domain to route 53. For this case I have created a dns zone in amazon lightsail. I just setup the amazon workmails too. I just saw that amazon workmail is configurated automaticly when the domain is configurated at amazon route 53. My question is: Is this for amazon lightsail dns-zone the case too? I just changed the namenservers from my domain. I think it is not connected yet to the dns zone. It will be connected soon.

I don't believe this can work with Lightsail DNS. You would have to register your domain to real Route53 to use automatic configuration. Then you could point that (Route53 domain) to Lightsail with below instructions. Ligthsail DNS is nice and simple to work with, but it is designed to work within Lightsail.
