Migration task Progress is showing 0 and it is stuck

I am trying to migrate MySQL ( version 8) which is hosted in Azure Redhat VM to the RDS instance using Database Migration Services.

  1. I have created both source and target endpoints - connections are successful
  2. Replication Instance has been created
  3. Migration Task has been created.
  4. However the progress of the task is 0 % from last 4 hours and not sure what is happening. Please help me with the same.

    I'm having a similar issue actually. It has no "Started" date and it's stuck at Ready and 0%.

I'd suggest to enable logs for DMS task: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/dms/latest/userguide/CHAP_Tasks.CustomizingTasks.TaskSettings.Logging.html
