Does S3 same region replication trigger S3 event notifications in the destination bucket?

As per title - does SRR trigger S3 event notifications on the destination bucket if they have been configured?

Yes, if you create a trigger on the target bucket that is triggered on "All object create events" it will be triggered by the objects being replicated into the bucket.
