Usage of alphanumeric sender ID for SMS messaging in Russia

0

Is it possible to use an already registered alphanumeric sender ID for SMS messaging in Russia with second provider? I.e. ID is registered through provider A and now we would like to use this sender ID also with AWS SNS. Do we have to register it again?

Hello,

If you plan to send messages to a country, for example Russia, where pre-registration of sender ID is required as per AWS documentation at this link[1], then you have to register the sender ID with AWS and follow the steps at this next link [2] in order to use the same sender ID again which has already been registered with provider A.

The reason is that AWS needs to register the sender ID further once more.
