lightsail cdn default document

I have a Lightsail Distribution (CND) that is connected to a Lightsail Storage Bucket - and I want to make a file (index.html) the default page when the CDN is called with the top-level-domain. Is this possible?

I don't think this is possible. It seems like all of the Lightsail documentation involves Wordpress. What you want to do is just host a static file in S3 and then configure Cloudfront to be the CDN. Here is a detailed walk through:
