Inexplicable error messages.

1

I am new to AWS. I tried installing AWS CLI and ran AWS configure where I entered my keys, etc. But when I type: aws ssm help, or any service help, or just aws help, I get the following:

'DOSKEY' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. 'more' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I have not typed either "DOSKEY" nor 'more' so I do not understand the error message. the AWS CLI version I installed is: aws-cli/2.7.21 Python/3.9.11 Windows/10 exe/AMD64 prompt/off I am using windows 10.

Can anyone help me? All I want to do is run a python program I have put out in my S3 bucket from the CLI.

Hello,

I would say try the below steps for troubleshooting and also refer to the Windows section troubleshooting to find the steps.

Let me know if it helps.

Link- https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/userguide/cli-chap-troubleshooting.html -- [1]

Also, refer to this link for S3 specific commands and best practices.

Link- https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/userguide/cli-services-s3-commands.html#using-s3-commands-prereqs -- [2]

Hope this helps. Please click Accepted answer if the answer helped you.
