EC2 status check when entire region goes down

If the entire AWS region where the EC2 instances and Auto Scaling group are located is down, what result would the health checks performed by Auto Scaling return? Does the StatusCheckFailed of EC2 still function? I wish to verify whether the hardware is still operational during such a major catastrophe.

Hello.
If a large-scale regional failure occurs, the AWS API itself may become unusable, so we expect that notifications such as AutoScaling health checks will no longer be available.
AWS users cannot predict what will happen during a large-scale regional failure, so I don't know if they will give you an answer, but I think it would be best to contact AWS Support.
