Share QuickSight dashboards via email without user signing in

Question

A customer is wondering if it's possible to share QuickSight dashboards via email for users who haven't signed 
into Quicksight before but it was a granted access via AD Connector.

Per https://docs.aws.amazon.com/quicksight/latest/user/sending-reports.html, it looks like the user has to have already completed the QuickSight sign-up process to activate their subscription before a report can be sent via email. Is this call out only for email-invited user accounts or it applied to AD added users too?

As per the document the following are the pre-req for users or groups to receive email reports:

To receive email reports, the users or group members must meet the following conditions:

1. They are part of your Amazon QuickSight subscription.
 2. You already shared the dashboard with them.
 3. They have completed sign-up process to activate their subscription as Amazon QuickSight readers, authors, or admins.
 4. Amazon QuickSight can’t send scheduled emails to any groups that contain more than 5,000 members.

For AD users, the authentication is a little different.

"If the user is authenticated through Microsoft AD, you don't need to use RegisterUser to set them up. Instead, they should be automatically subscribed the first time they access Amazon QuickSight. For Microsoft AD users, you can use DescribeUser to get the user ARN."
