Time required for DNS server update to propagate?

Hi,

We recently change our Name server to Amazon Route 53 (over 4 days ago) and some people are still not able to see our domain. In a previous post it mentioned that "DNS resolvers typically cache the names of name servers for two days".

How long does it take for DNS servers to be visible to everyone?
