Quicksight Amazon Q enablement

The Amazon Q enablement fee is not optional for Author Pro users in Amazon QuickSight. When an account has at least one Pro user (which includes Author Pro) or at least one Amazon Q Topic, a $250 per month Amazon Q enablement fee applies. This fee is part of the pricing structure for accounts that utilize the advanced generative BI capabilities provided by Amazon Q in QuickSight.

The Author Pro role, which costs $50 per user per month, includes access to generative BI capabilities with Amazon Q in QuickSight. These capabilities include the ability to author dashboards using natural language with Amazon Q, build stories, create Topics for Q&A, and generate executive summaries from dashboards. The enablement fee is separate from and in addition to the per-user pricing for Author Pro roles.

It's important to note that this fee applies at the account level, not per user. So, even if you have just one Author Pro user, the account will incur the $250 per month Amazon Q enablement fee. This fee structure is designed to cover the costs associated with enabling and maintaining the Amazon Q capabilities across the QuickSight account.

We are being billed for Amazon Q in Quicksight. We have no pro users and I ran list-topics from the CLI and there are none. From the opt out document I see we can't use "Dashboard and visual indexing" or Dashboard Q&A. We don't use Dashboard Q&A, but what is "visual indexing"?
