How to Tag Savings Plans

Trying to go thru untagged resources, and I see in cost explorer "Savings Plans for Compute usage" listed under No tag key: Name. I tried to update via cli, but still didn't affect it. When I type "aws savingsplans describe-savings-plans" I see under tags section Key & Value configured. Is there somewhere else I need to look, or is it just something that doesn't support tagging?

You need to activate the tags for cost allocation in order to see them in Cost Explorer. Here is more detail: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/awsaccountbilling/latest/aboutv2/cost-alloc-tags.html

    Which cost allocation tag would I need to activate? The "Name" is already active as I can filter by it.

    I must have understood your question. Tags for Savings Plans is actually not supported in Cost Explorer yet.
