Pricing for SMS long codes

0

Hi. How can I get pricing for long codes for sending SMS (text) messages? For example, when I recently requested a long code for Canada, I didn't see any pricing information. I did see a "View Pricing Details" link , but that just brought me to a page (https://aws.amazon.com/pinpoint/pricing/#Numbers) that said that pricing information would be available in the console or at the time I open a support case (when opening a support case is required).

Thank you

  • Upon looking at the Canada long code details in the console, I can see that that monthly fee is $1

I have passed the feedback on your behalf to the concerned team to update the pricing page with the pricing information for the U.S. and Canada as Pinpoint Console is directing to this page now. Apologies for the inconvenience you have faced due to this.

After provisioning the CA long code, the Pinpoint Console shows the monthly fee under Number details which is $1 USD for Canadian long code.

For other countries, while requesting the long code limit team shares the costs associated with obtaining it or you can always open a support case to confirm the price details.

To get pricing information for long codes for sending SMS messages:

Open an AWS Support case and select "Dedicated SMS Long Codes" as the resource type.

Provide details about your use case in the case description.

If approved, AWS will send you information about the costs associated with obtaining the long code, as well as an estimate for provisioning time. Pricing can vary depending on region and use case.

Refer to the AWS documentation pages for the most up-to-date pricing details for SMS services. Pricing is subject to change.

You may also need to check with your specific mobile carrier for any additional fees they charge for receiving messages on long codes.

Opening a support case is currently the recommended way to request a long code and obtain pricing details from AWS. The documentation should have the most accurate pricing information available. Let me know if you need any clarification or have additional questions!
