A friend has pointed out that EventBridge was switched off during the us-east-1 outage yesterday. AWS could have buffered the events and presumably will start processing the data once everything has come back online.
In fact, I'm starting to see data appearing in the distribution metrics past 00:00 so hopefully we just have to wait for the buffers to clear out.

Hello, I currently work in the us-west-2 region, and I see the same problem through my console. I don't see any action to solve this problem just wait.

I have the same issue in eu-west-2 & ap-southeast-2. Metrics stopped getting recorded just before 00:00 (GMT) in both distributions.
