Steps to Resolve the Access Issue in GovCloud Verify the URL: Ensure that you are using the correct customized URL for your GovCloud account. Sometimes URLs can change or be misconfigured.
Check for Browser Issues:
Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Try logging in from a different browser or an incognito/private window. Ensure that your browser is up to date. Review IAM Policies:
Log in with a user that still has access to the AWS Management Console, even if it is not the Administrator. Navigate to the IAM (Identity and Access Management) console. Check the policies attached to the Administrator role to ensure they haven't been modified or restricted. Verify Account Status:
Confirm that the Administrator account has not been disabled or deleted. Check if there are any recent changes or updates that might have affected access. Check Permission Boundaries and SCPs:
Ensure that permission boundaries or Service Control Policies (SCPs) applied to your account or organization haven't restricted access. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
Verify if MFA is required for the Administrator account and ensure that it is set up correctly. Check if there are any issues with the MFA device or configuration. Review Security Alerts:
Look at the AWS CloudTrail logs for any security alerts or changes that might have affected your access. Check for any suspicious activity that could indicate a security issue. Contact AWS Support:
If you are still unable to resolve the issue, contact AWS Support for assistance. Provide them with details of the issue, including any error messages you are receiving and steps you have already taken.
