Patch Manager for RHEL 9.3

0

I recently updated all my Alma 9.2 instances to 9.3, and then I realized that patch manager was no longer identifying missing patches on the system. I then noticed that none of the EL 9.3 distros (RedHat, Rocky, Alma) are listed on this page as supported:

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/latest/userguide/patch-manager-prerequisites.html#supported-os

Or in the version drop-down when creating a custom patch baseline.

Does anybody know when El 9.3 might be supported? It came out over two months ago, so I have to assume people have started using it.

I do understand that you have a valid concern that SSM patch manager needs to support latest Linux 9.3 distros like ALMA, RedHat etc. I regret the inconvenience caused to you due to this. I have raised this with our internal team, as a feature request. Since this is a feature requested by various customers, our Internal Development Team are already aware of this and strive to improve Customer experience by adding as many features as possible at the earliest.

Unfortunately, We don't have an ETA for you at the moment but I invite you to check our products announcement page [1] periodically for updates. Our AWS Blog [2] is also chock-full of tutorials you might find useful, especially when working with new features. Please feel free to get back to me if you have any further doubts/queries.
