No certificate shown in AWS Certificate Manager despite having certs pending renewal

We have a certificate that is pending email validation for renewal. When we attempt to view the certificate (to request a new email for validation), there are no certificates listed under the AWS Certificate Manager. What would cause this and how do we access the certificate?

    1. Where did you get this notification that you have a pending certificate?
    2. Do you have the ARN of the certificate?
    3. Are you sure you are looking in the right region?

ACM is region specific are you sure you are accessing the ACM console from the required region? If you are using a certificate with Amazon CloudFront, you must ensure you access ACM from the US East (N. Virginia) region.
