Add subdomain on existing AWS EC2 instance

0

Hi,

I'm struggling to make a subdomain to work.

What I have done :

  1. create an AWS EC2 instance with WHM and CPANEL on domain www.fakename.com
  2. subdomain created in WHM and CPANEL
  3. create the route53 and hosted zone as followed

www.webamazingapps.com. | A | 13.XXX.XXX.183 (elastic IP)
www.webamazingapps.com. | NS | ns-796.awsdns-35.net.
ns-1744.awsdns-26.co.uk.
ns-72.awsdns-09.com.
ns-1431.awsdns-50.org.
www.webamazingapps.com. | SOA | ns-1744.awsdns-26.co.uk. awsdns-hostmaster.amazon.com. 1 7200 900 XXXXXXX 86400
commandes.www.webamazingapps.com. | CNAME | 13.XXX.XXX.183 (elastic IP)
www.www.webamazingapps.com. | CNAME | 13.XXX.XXX.183 (elastic IP)

I have added to my NAMECHEAP domain the following custom DNS
ns-796.awsdns-35.net.
ns-1744.awsdns-26.co.uk.
ns-72.awsdns-09.com.
ns-1431.awsdns-50.org.

if I follow the url

commandes.webamazingapps.com

I've got an ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED

I'm stuck, would need some expertise here.

Thank you, cheers, Marc

Hello,

I have checked on my side your sub-domain name commandes.webamazingapps.com it is resolving.
Can you please confirm from your side if you still experiencing the same error you were getting?

Sorry for my response delay. Everything is fine now, I have created a new instance from the scratch and now everything is working fine. Thanks. Cheers
