Unexpected Access Issues Post-AWS Account Verification: Seeking Advice

0

Hi AWS Community,

Recently, I encountered a distressing issue with AWS Support. My AWS account was placed under verification, and during this period, all my access and privileges were revoked until I verified my identity and payment information.

Upon completing the verification, my account was reinstated. I promptly powered them back on, only to find out that I couldn't access my account using port 80 or even other ports like port 25. It's worth noting that I had removed the restrictions on these ports about three years ago.

I reached out to support, and every representative insisted that the issue likely originated from my end, suggesting possible changes in the network ACL or similar settings. But, I can affirmatively state that I made no such changes. All I did was turn my servers back on.

I wanted to share my experience here to see if anyone else has faced a similar issue.
