CORS Pre flight

I am struggling with a CORS pre flight error. I am receiving this when I make a PATCH api call, the PATCH works on postman. My DELETE, READ and CREATE calls all work. I am using API gateway with a lambda function. I do not think it is a permission problem as I believe I have granted the right permissions
