Website not updating after domain

Before, I used an AWS EC2 IP to access my website. Later, I purchased a domain from GoDaddy and connected it to my EC2 IP. Now, I can access my website using the new domain. However, when I make changes to the website and restart the Ngnix server, the changes do not appear.

Is it only when you access the website through the domain purchased from GoDaddy that the changes do not appear, or do you get the same behaviour when you try to access the website directly using the EC2's IP address and/or the ec2-[a-b-c-d].compute-1.amazonaws.com name?
