Delete AmazonCloudWatch from expiring Free Tier account

0

I've received a notification that my Free Tier is expiring and I should delete all active services to avoid getting billed. I see AmazonCloudWatch as the only service in my Billing dashboard. I went into the Management Console, Cloudwatch and found 2 logs which I deleted. But I also see 3 "Automatic dashboards" which I have found no way to delete. I've read the instructions but they are not clear if/what to do with them. I need a confirmation that there's nothing more to delete and that I will not get billed past my Free Tier expiration. How do I get that? Thank you!

  • If you have no use for the account and do not wished to be billed, why not just suspend/close the account

Hello.
Frequently, fees are incurred because CloudWatch Logs are left behind or continue to send data to custom metrics.
Perhaps invoices or Cost Explorer can be checked for more details.
I believe it is possible to see which features of CloudWatch are charged for by looking at the invoice or Cost Explorer.
