AWS Name Servers listed for our Route 53 DNS are not responsive

We monitor responsiveness for our AWS Route 53 name servers. Two of the four are now unresponsive to both ping and name resolution requests. Should we be concerned about this and how do we remediate? We do not have a purchased support plan through AWS. Thanks!!

Have you configured health checks for Route53? If not, configure health checks and the configure CloudWatch alarms. Read through the health check section on this page - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/Route53/latest/DeveloperGuide/dns-failover-determining-health-of-endpoints.html
