I understand you're experiencing an urgent issue where testing phone numbers are being dumped to your production AWS Connect environment. This is a critical situation that needs immediate attention. Based on the information provided, here are the immediate steps you should take:

Immediate Actions

  1. Check Phone Number Configuration • Log into your AWS Connect console and go to Channels > Phone Numbers • Verify that test phone numbers are not assigned to production contact flows • Ensure test numbers are properly isolated from production flows

  2. Review Contact Flow Assignments • Check that testing phone numbers are assigned to dedicated testing contact flows, not production flows • Verify the contact flow assignments for each phone number in your instance

  3. Implement Environment Separation • Best practice is keeping production and non-production environments completely separate • Test phone numbers should be in dedicated testing instances, not production instances

Immediate Troubleshooting Steps Identify Affected Numbers: Check which test numbers are currently in your production environment Reassign or Remove: Either reassign test numbers to proper testing flows or remove them entirely from production Monitor Call Traffic: Use CloudWatch metrics to monitor for any ongoing issues Test Isolation: Verify that production flows are only accessible via production numbers

Since this is affecting your production environment, I recommend taking immediate action to isolate the test numbers and then implementing proper environment separation to prevent this from happening again. Would you like me to help you with any specific aspect of this remediation process?
