ECC keys and IoT Greengrass V2

0

Are there plans to support ECC keys in IoT Greengrass V2 - So that security devices like the ATECC608A/B etc can be used to secure keys for Greengrass communications between devices and AWS cloud ?

I believe that Greengrass V1 did support this, but support seems to have disappeared it doesn't seem to possible with the current V2 version.

Is support for these devices dropped or is there a plan or roadmap for support ?

Hi. Please see here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/greengrass/v2/developerguide/hardware-security.html

Important Currently, AWS IoT Greengrass doesn't support ECC keys. For information about keys that are supported, see the documentation for your HSM.

Key word is "currently".
