How to Accommodate Portrait Video in Video on Demand on AWS Solutions

I am running Video on Demand on AWS solutions infrastructure (the complete one, not the Foundation one). When I tried uploading portrait video the ending result is a landscape video but with left and right black padding wrapping the original portrait video. I would like to have landscape video to be converted to landscape video and portrait to portrait when played in the device. How do I achieve that?

The solution provide some job Template that you could modify under Mediaconvert Page -> Job Templates. Anyways Add "Rotate": "AUTO" to VideoSelector in inputs. In this case, EMC will try to automatically rotate the video based on metadata if it's available. and : https://docs.aws.amazon.com/mediaconvert/latest/ug/auto-rotate.html
