Connect an instance using Session Manager for region ap-southeast-3

0

Hi,

Based on this article https://docs.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/latest/userguide/quick-setup-host-management.html that I followed since I cannot connect my ec2 instance using session manager.

The problem is To connect to an instance using Session Manager, Systems Manager requires an IAM instance profile. You can create an instance profile and assign it to your instance by using a Systems Manager Quick Setup

I have tried to set up with the quick setup (Following the guideline, but it seems it is not supported in my region. Am I right? When I choose a target or choose a region, my region doesn't available.

ap-southeast-3 not available

Furthermore, I have created roles for AmazonSSMFullAccess and AmazonSSMManagedInstanceCore and tried to attach one of them to my EC2 instance but still no luck. Please help up does it not supported on my region or something I missing?

Thanks in Advance.

Cordially,

Yohanes

Systems Manager is also available in ap-southeast-3 as far as this service endpoint is concerned.

The following document describes the prerequisites for using Session Manager.
Please check to see if you can meet these requirements.
