RDS MS SQL in stopping state too long

Hi, My RDS MS SQL instance stop manually and stuck in stopping state for more then an hour (and still stuck). how can I release it from this state ?

Dear Customer, Thanks for reaching out to AWS re:Post.

When RDS instance is stopped a "hidden" snapshot is taken by RDS (even when the snapshot option is not ticked by customer) - this is by design. That is usually the reason for the delay.

But to gain more perspective on your RDS instance, a support case with Premium Support would help.
