Hi farnetani,
From the notes, I understand that your instance kept starting, but never stopped and now you want to delete it. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
You can start by checking the logs from your console, to get more information on what went wrong with the instance. Please note to delete your instance it has to be in available state first, depending on the size of the DB it takes up to 20 minutes for it to be available.Note that can also use your CLI to delete your instances if you can't access it from the console. Click the link[1] below on ways to delete your instances. For further assistance you can contact AWS Customer Support to review/validate or to get your instance available.
