SES send email on behalf of different custom domain using verified domain

Say i have a verified domain like "example.com", can i send emails using "gmail.com" on behalf of "example.com" using authorization policies attached to the verified identity?

Hello,

Using Authorization policy, you can grant other AWS accounts to use your verified domain-example.com. Unfortunately, you cannot send emails on behalf of gmail.com or unverified domains.
