You will need to open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing" to discuss this. AWS Support may offer refunds for unexpected charges.

Explain your situation. AWS will ask you to take action to prevent such situations in the future (more strict security policies, budget alarms, etc.). After that AWS should drop your bill
