stepfunction parallel state branches limit

Question

Hello, I'm learning step function.

is there any quota in  (max number of  branches in Parallel state) ?
I can see max concurrency of Map state in the documentation, but can't find of Parallel state.

Hi, 
StepFunctions have by default a quota a 10'000 registered activities at any given moment. See https://docs.aws.amazon.com/step-functions/latest/dg/limits-overview.html

Parallel in itself may have lower limits that I don't know of.

In my experience, we try to avoid Parallel with too many branch. We rather go with Step Functions launching other Step Functions in some Parallel like yours
