No t4g Reserved Instances in Elasticache

Question

Hello,

I'm trying to acquire 2 reserved cache.t4g.medium nodes (https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/elasticache/home?region=us-east-1#/reserved-nodes).

However, the t4g category is not available, can you please assist?

Hi,

When do you get the error? Does the AWS Management console allow you to select the t4.g category?

Remember that T4g type nodes are available only for Memcached engine version 1.15.16 onward, and Redis 5.0.6+.

Hi,
Cache.t4g.medium instances are available in us-east-1. From the list you can find them after m6g instances rather than bottom of the list. If you do not see the option, please open a support ticket with AWS Support team.
