Checking staff module location

0

I have created a checked staffing module and added it to 1 particular flow for a service outside of our main contact centre flows. If we want to use the check staffing block across several flows is there anywhere higher up we can place it, or does it need to go in many flows?

You can create a flow module that contains the Check Staffing block, and then invoke that module in multiple flows. Flow modules are reusable sections of a flow that allow you to extract repeatable logic across flows and create common functions.

By creating a Check Staffing module, you can simplify managing the common functionality across flows, make it more efficient to maintain the flows, and help separate flow designer responsibilities.

You can use modules in any flow that is type Inbound flow. The following types of flows do not support modules: Customer queue, Customer hold, Customer whisper, Outbound whisper, Agent hold, Agent whisper, Transfer to agent, Transfer to queue.

So in summary, the best way to use the Check Staffing block across multiple flows is to create a reusable flow module containing that block, and then invoke the module in the Inbound flows where you need to check staffing. This allows you to centralize and manage the staffing check functionality in one place.
