Restart RDS Custom Instance

I have to restart my RDS Custom Instance. The option in the Management Console is not there and the reboot-db-instance command is not available for rds custom. How can I make this happen?

Hello,

There is no available option to reboot database instance via AWS console or CLI.

You need to connect to the underlying host and perform stop and start procedure of your DB instance. Please make sure to pause automation before performing this activity, otherwise our automation will immediately start your database instance once you start stopping your database instance.
