If a person that Amazon Rekognition Video recognizes leaves the camera frame and then comes back into the frame, does Amazon Rekognition recognize them as the same person?

Yes, there are two ways that you can configure Amazon Rekognition Video to recognize the same person if they leave the camera frame and then come back in: The StartPersonTracking and GetPersonTracking APIs, or the StartFaceSearch and GetFaceSearch APIs.

Note: The GetFaceSearch and GetPersonTracking APIs have an index field within the "Person" structure that uniquely identifies each person in a video.
