How to copy an encrypted ami as an unencrypted ami?

I was wondering if there is a way to do this. I have tried to create an unencrypted copy of the encrypted ami without checking in the encrypt option but it still shows encrypted. Please advise.

Hi,

according to https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/CopyingAMIs.html#ami-copy-encryption, is not possible to copy an encrypted ami to an unencrypted one.
