Hello,
I'm experiencing an issue with my Smart Home skill on Alexa. When a user logs out of their account or deactivates the skill, the devices previously linked through the skill remain visible in the Alexa app. This is confusing for users, as the devices cannot be controlled anymore but still appear in the app with no option for removal.
From my end, I don’t have a way to directly remove or mark the devices as “deleted” in Alexa once the user has deactivated the skill. I assumed Alexa would automatically clear the devices from its app upon unlinking, but that doesn’t seem to be happening. Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or does anyone know if there is a specific way to ensure these devices are removed from Alexa upon skill deactivation?
I’d appreciate any guidance or solutions on how to handle this situation. Thank you!
