Instance stuck in stopping state
My [**Instance status checks**] is failing since yesterday and I couldn't access instance to trouble shooting. Either via SSH or SSM The networking is not a problem since I checked via Reachability Analyzer (IGW to Instance) We also monitoring the instance and Ram or Dish storage is not the issue the last time the instance online Is there any way we can access instance for troubleshooting? ![storage](/media/postImages/original/IMQhsQ-Y27R_W_TgY2QE-PBg) ![ram](/media/postImages/original/IM71jgKz4OQliZFpRzt2UKCg) If it's help, the instance ID is i-0510a4ace1ff4069d and we are in Tokyo Region
Need help troubleshooting a t3.xlarge that is not accruing CPU credits and hence is always throttled.
One of my t3.xlarge instances in my EKS cluster is not accruing CPU credits and hence impacting the response of my services. The processes running on this particular t3.xlarge instance had a mis-configuration for an extended period that I'm thinking it's now being punished for that extended period (2 months) of high (between 50 and 60%) CPU usage. I've since reconfigured the application and now CPU load is just under 5% and it's been under 5% for at least 24hrs yet my CPU Credits balance is still at 0 - see attached screenshot. Any pointers? Would a reboot resolve the issue? ![Enter image description here](/media/postImages/original/IMysqujZ01SWWh52oYQKKOaw) ![Enter image description here](/media/postImages/original/IMVn1ROvDoT8i7tECCloI04A)

EBS Snapshot and Volume creation
We are currently working on designing a resilient system that can handle storage failure. I would like to know if this is even possible to achieve from an infrastructure point. The system will be consist of ELB -> ALB -> EC2. The autoscaling group will have 2 pool, one warm and one active pool (both contain a max of 1 instance). In order to achieve high resiliency we are planning on creating a snapshot of active instances EBS volume every 3 minute. In warm autoscaling pool we will have a warm instance ready to go. We will run a lambda every 3 minutes that will pull the latest snapshot and attach to the warm pool instance. In that way if any time the active goes down, the warm instance can come up with latest snapshot data. In theory this looks doable but is there any technical issues that we might run into? Also, how much time it takes for a volume to be built from a 500GB snapshot? Other info: a) There is only ~5KB/sec of data written per second during business hours only. b) The EBS volume will have around 500GB of data Thanks

EC2 vs Fargate for periodic workloads
Context: Workload will be periodic and predictable Don't want to go with on-demand EC2 since most of the time it won't be active. Questions: How we can only spawn an ec2 when we need and close it after it's done with a task? Would fargate be a better choice for this situation?
website not working
My AWS account nr: 553228681532 I use AWS as a host for like 2-3 months. Previously my website - https://www.chessez.com was working, but yesterday it suddenly stopped working (there's no connection). ![my conversation with support](/media/postImages/original/IMuiA5HkgNQNCTOtNPbUweGA) Above screenshot shows my conversation with AWS support saying that instances are running and for more-in detail investigation I need to contact technical person. So please, can someone provide a sulotion? What may be causing the issue? ---> Update (message from my developer) i have run some tests on my local environment.. Even if backend is not running frontend should be working atleast. if you get to server support. please ask them to check server logs. apache should be running for backend and npm for angular. tell them not even http://184.108.40.206/html/index.html is working. /var/www is the root path
Light Sail VS EC2 selection for web application server
Hello Guys, We are working on architecture for web application. We currently have three servers in our design - web server ( front end), application server ( backend) and database - all hosted on Amazon EC2. However, we thought of leveraging Amazon light Sail instead of EC2. Our proposed web application will angular based and going to have dynamic reports with option to steam live video with approximately 10k users accessing the video streaming. Please advise if Amazon light Sail will be suitable for this kind of operations or need to go with EC2?
How compute saving plan going to be adjusted?
I am very much confused in terms of how saving plan going to be adjusted between those instances? As an example, if we purchased 4 instances, each instance would cost **$5** per hour and a saving plan would cost **$4**, so we purchased a **compute saving plan** by committing **$13** per hour How this saving plan will be adjusted between those instances? Since 3 instances would consume **$12** how **$1** going to be adjusted? because we have purchased Rs.13 per hour saving plan?
