AWS Cognito for iOS (AWS Amplify related)
I'm using AWS Cognito in my backend (NestJS) and want to integrate it with my iOS app. In that case, is there any library that I should use? Because most examples I see are with Amplify, I'm only going to use Cognito, for auth, and EC2 to store the backend. So, trying to summarize my question: Should I use the Amplify lib when I'm only using Cognito? And if I use Amplify and Amplify Cognito plugins to handle authentication, should I also consider Amplify pricing too?
Security Hub - pricing estimation
Hello. I would like to estimate prices for aws security hub, but I have some questions about it: 1. What means Number Of Security Checks per Account?. How can I calculate that number? 2. What means Number Of Finding Ingested per Account? How can I calculate that number? 3. About AWS Config used by Security Hub, how can I calculate the Number of Configuration items recorded and Number of Config rule evaluations? Thank you.
Polly cutting files short online?
I am trying to TTS a 10 page PDF. It has 30,000 characters: ![Enter image description here](/media/postImages/original/IMRw_fGtsqQFW56yvJJjTHKg) However, when I go to the file, it's just 700kb, and is 2 minutes: ![Enter image description here](/media/postImages/original/IM5d0ONSVfS7C9KfSaWj3vQg) Free tier allows 1,000,000 characters per month, and I'm able to continually make 2 minute MP3s, so I don't know why it's not producing a longer MP3. Could anyone help? [I changed region to N-California, which affected some features availablity, but I can't see how this would cause this error : ( ]

How do AWS MP notify us whether the subscribed plan is a free trial plan. Does the GetEntitlements API contains any free trial info for the subscribed product? Please help.
Will be applied promotional credit for Elastic IP?
Hello, Our company has applied all elastic ip (EIP). That is cheked at EC2 "Service Quotas" page (5 applied from 5 default quota value). Also, we have a credit, and by the terms and conditions (https://aws.amazon.com/awscredits/) the "promotional Credit will be applied only to the specific Services designated by your AWS contracting entity (collectively, “Eligible Services”)". The list of services (according to "Billing > Credit" page) that can be used with the associated credit include EC2 but in the list is not expressly written EIP as a service. So, will our company **be charged outside from the credit** for every new EIP above the default quota? Best Regards!
Different types of S3 storages and which should I use in my case?
Hi, my website is a multivendor shop where people can sell digital downloads. Those digital downloads consist of heavy zip files (can be from 10mb all the way to 10gb or more in really rare cases) I understood there are many different types of S3 Storage and some cost way more than others, What is the recommended use in a case like mine? is it the default storage or should I move it to a glacier storage or something cheaper? I'm not streaming any audio or video, just delivering those product files to users upon purchase, could be once a day, 100 times a day or no downloads at all for ages for different products. I'm mainly concerned about making sure that when the user clicks "Download" hes file starts downloading without any huge delay and that it wont be limited to like 20kb or something What would be the best solution in my case? thanks for your time.

RDS Database Option for Customer Data
I am creating a payment portal for a website. The website will allow users to create an online account, update their customer info (such as billing address, phone, email), and view and pay their invoices. After some research, I plan to use S3 to store the invoices in PDF format. I was considering storing the customer data and invoice data in a relational database among two tables connected by customer ID. A customer would sign into their account, and a query would be made against the customers and invoices table, for the initial summary page that displays upon sign in. Some further querying would be done if they view their profile or view their invoices page. I ran an estimate for a single-az, postgresql, general purpose SSD db.t2.micro instance with 100% utilization and 5GB. That indicated a **monthly cost under $14**. I chose 100% utilization because user accounts would be accessible 24/7. I could have done this in S3 with JSON but, in terms of standards, the data calls for a relational database (outside of the PDF objects). All queries to the database would be through Lambdas. Is this the cheapest RDS option? And would a db.t2.micro instance be performant for these rather-simple queries for an online user account (e.g. retrieval speed upon querying)?
How to setup a secure Back Up policy using S3 bucket to store Wordpress data (wp-content/) to glacier or something similar.
I'm moving a set of 10 domains from a single **EC2** with **Plesk** **(a)** to single **EC2** instances with the *WordPress AMI* installed **(b)**. Those sites are 25/40GB each. To avoid creating huge **EBS** drives for each instance I'm going to offload the wp-content/ folder straight to **S3**. How could run a safe **S3** *Lifecycle policy* to store all the data in a safe place? (maybe **Glacier**) like incremental 6 days a week and 1 complete snapshot the 7th day, plus 1 full snapshot each week for a month. Is it a safe idea or does not make any sense? The idea behind is to reduce storages costs of my first configuration **(a)**. Any feedback or suggestion is more than welcome. thank you
AWS Pricing Tool
Hi guys! I'm looking for a tool to estimate AWS price. Currently, I use AWS Pricing Calculator, but I feel this seem to be stupid. I can't save my estimate when a problem with my laptop, my estimate will be lost. Moreover, when I export the estimate to csv file, the detail configuration sometimes makes me confuse with lots of information, but it doesn't contain what I need, and I have to reformat them. Therefore, I want to find another tool to estimate AWS price instead of using AWS Pricing Calculator. If you know any tool, please recommend to me. Thanks!
