I completed the upload file part in Workdocs via rest api's. But is there a way like multipart upload to upload large files in chunks to Amazon Workdocs same as in Amazon S3?

As far as I know, we can add resource permissions to resource on basis of recipient id. But how to create a shared link and give different level of access like View, Edit or Public and also set link expiry time programmatically/through rest api? I know that we can give access levels through UI but could not find a way to do it programmatically.

My 2 colleagues and I have been using amazon workdocs for a few months. I am the admin. Recently one of my colleagues (PowerUser1) has started getting the message "storage limit exceeded" on her drive app, so she cannot upload files through windows file explorer. She can download files. She does not face the upload problem when using the web interface. I tried logging in using the PowerUser1 account on my windows computer and the drive app works properly. Her firewall settings appear to be the same as mine. We have tried rebooting, and reinstalling. My other colleague (PowerUser2) has no issues. We recently had another user (GuestUser1) leave the company, so I set that person as an "inactive user". I don't see why this would relate to the problem I describe above, but the timing of the GuestUser1 leaving and PowerUser1 having problems seems to match.

I have WorkDocs set up successfully and can access my WorkDocs drive through the url in a browser. After installing the WorkDocs Drive Client on my Workspace, however, I am unable to launch/mount the drive. When I open the WorkDocs Drive app, I am prompted to enter my WorkDocs site URL. I enter the url/directory ID and click "Next." Instead of prompting me for credentials, it simply hangs on a blank screen with "Processing..." at the top. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, played with commands in the PowerShell related to a similar issue with a hang up during authentication, but haven't been successful. My primary goal is to be able to share files securely between multiple WorkSpace instances.

Hi, We are integrating with WorkDocs API and would like to know what the URL of a folder or file is consist of. For folder, is that https://amazon.awsapps.com/workdocs/index.html#/folder/{#folder_id}, where the folder_id is the id in [FolderMetadata](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workdocs/latest/APIReference/API_FolderMetadata.html). Same logic for file. Thanks! Ang

I was wondering if Amazon WorkDocs supports document tagging, or if that is on the development radar, so that teams can get away from folder structures and move towards filtering based on tags.

I have a single Workspace with a single user. The Workspace has a root volume of 80GB and a user volume of 100GB. When I access the user volume through WorkDocs from my own computer not all the data appears. Under "My account" in the WorkDocs web view storage is listed as "50 GB of 50 GB used." In Windows Explorer the My Documents folder has 26.3 GB (?!) and Shared With Me has 0 GB. Why does WorkDocs not accommodate the full 100 GB and how can I make it so?

Hi, Seems that the function to embed in {{iframe}} a doc that is stored in WorkDocs is not working anymore. But the issue is not the embed but seems that the doc can't be opened by the function. {{iframe url="https://amazon.awsapps.com/workdocs/pdfjs/viewer.html#/documentid=docID.from.workdocs" width="900px" height="900px";}}{{/iframe}} Any fix for this or advice? error message: "We weren't able to load this document. Please try again later."

Hello, I am trying to setup a user who is constantly on the go and changing IP addresses with WorkDocs. I thought I had a Client VPN setup to allow for the user to connect to the endpoint and then to the WorkDocs without worrying about changing the IP address in the WorkDocs admin console. But no luck there. I have split tunneling enabled on the VPN profile, which is what AWS Support recommended, and I deleted the route to the internet, which is also what Support recommended. So the only route is to the subnet where my WorkDocs lives. I feel like I must be missing something, anyone have an idea? I would have thought it was more straightforward to assign a static Public IP to a client VPN than it actually is, so that doesn't seem to be an option.

Since last week no users can upload any files or create files within WorkDocs in browser. As far as I can see we havent hit any limits on storage. Have tested with different users, using different browsers and still have the same issue. Have contacted support who have confirmed the issue isn't due to outstanding bill etc. Any ideas on what to look at next to fault find the issue?
