It's possible to get a renewal at a later time? I didn't have time to use it and I would like to use it later when I could. I know it's somewhat unreasonable, I shouldn't have registered when I had not the time to use it. Thank you in advance.

I am hosting a couple of websites on Elastic Beanstalk. AWS India now only accepts manual payments at the end of each month. They don't save credit cards and Netbanking payment must be manually approved each time. Due to health issues I am frequently in and out of hospital; last time I was admitted for 2 weeks and when I came back, I found my account got suspended for non payment (and the sites went down). This defeats the very purpose of cloud computing if I have to be constantly around for the bill. Is there any way to automate payments? I tried to get Activate credits but that too got rejected, so I am left with no option now except to make manual payment each time. If automated payments are not possible, some recommendations on alternative providers will be helpful.

I'm new to AWS and am using S3 to host eLearning courses on the web. I got an alert within 24 hours of uploading my first content that I had reached my request limit for the Free Tier. I'm confused about what a request is and how I would have gotten so many so quickly without sharing links to content with any yet. Any info would be helpful, thank you! Message I got "Your AWS account xxxxxxxxxxxx has exceeded 85% of the usage limit for one or more AWS Free Tier-eligible services for the month of March." I also logged in to check and it says that I have exceeded 2,000 requests.

I was experimenting with OpenSearch serverless service and I can't completely delete the service now that I'm not using it. I deleted all the domains, collections, policies, etc and I'm still being charged for the service. Capacity management is still set to 2 instances but it can't be reduced to 0 or completely delete the service. I'm being charged for the service even though I'm not using it. Any help on how to shut down this service would be helpful because it is eating my budget.

I used AWS briefly and may use it again. However, for now I want to get rid of all my AWS services and not be charged until I need it again. I have deleted/removed every EC2 machine that i had. Every month I get charged about $0.40 and the description is just "EC2-other". I have no idea what else to remove. How can I stop these charges? I would prefer not to delete my account.

Most AWS services are metered as multiple dimensions yet in Cost Explorer I can only see a single $ value which represents the service charge. For example. Secrets manager is priced as a combination of $0.40 per secret per month + $0.05 per 10,000 API calls. If my monthly charge is $15/month, how can I see a detailed breakdown of the billed API calls that have been charged? Thanks!

I am very disappointed with AWS at this point. I only opened this account because I was applying for a job. I had an appointment set and interviewer never showed up or responded. When I sent notification I was told I would be contacted and never was. Now I'm being told I may be charged for something I don't use. I have over 40 years of technology experience, yet cannot log in to clear my account. Granted I have not attempted login for a very long time, but I have captured enough screen shots to show this is not USER ERROR. I cannot log into account as root user even though I have the correct credentials. Hopefully you can respond before 3/31/23 avoiding any charges. I have exhausted way too much time on this so far. Any timely help would be appreciated. When logging in as root user, it accepts my password but does not send code. When I attempt captcha it fails after multiple attempts from mutliple devices.

I recently got an email that my free tier is ending soon (I activated S3 almost a year ago for a tutorial project). I logged in and removed all services and all resources from all regions. Using Tag Editor I confirmed there are no active resources on my account, but under Billing there was still S3 visible in one region. Your support pages suggest that it may take up to 24 hours for that list to update. I checked again today to make sure I wont get charged. The Tag Editor still returns no results for active resources (All regions, all supported resource types), but now, under Billing (Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL charges by service), I see multiple services that I never selected or had visible yesterday: CodeArtifact, Data Transfer, Key Management Service, Secrets Manager, Simple Notification Service, Simple Queue Service, Simple Storage Service and Systems Manager. All of them have all available regions under them, except for S3 which has only one region (same as it was yesterday). What is going on? Am I going to get charged for that? When I open the consoles for those services there is no items in a list so I guess they are not active afterall??? I have no experience with AWS, and this is just confusing. Can someone please explain what is going on?

I followed this link https://aws.amazon.com/getting-started/hands-on/create-mariadb-db/ to create and host my MariaDB on this platform, but even know I selected the free tier and disabled Multi-AZ deployment by selecting "do not create stand by instance", I was still charged $89, most of which are name: '$0.342 per RDS db.m6i.large Multi-AZ instance hour' '$0.2 per IOPS-month of provisioned io1 IOPS for Multi-AZ deployments running MariaDB' '$0.25 per GB-month of provisioned io1 storage for Multi-AZ deploy' Furthermore, under the configuration page, I can see that the value for Multi-AZ is no, according to this link https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/Concepts.MultiAZ.html For Multi-AZ DB instance deployment characteristics, I only meet the first two characteristics, the third one, "The value of Multi-AZ is Yes." which does not apply because of the above. And the Multi-AZ DB cluster deployment is unrelated at all to my case. why was I charged for a service I did not select to begin with?
