I am currently facing an issue with AWS regarding my app's communication with Amazon AWS via API Gateway. Once I create, test, and deploy my APIs, I use API Gateway usage plans to offer them as products to my customers. However, I have two issues that I need help with: 1. Currently, the plan quota resets on the 1st day of each month, but I need it to expire after 1 month from the first use by the customer. 2. I am unable to find a way to display the remaining plan quota to the user on my app. Any assistance with these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I have tried researching extensively and exploring various AWS resources to find a solution to my issues, but I have not been able to find a clear solution. Any assistance or guidance on these matters would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I have two different credits on my account. Just to be sure, do I have to set any settings from anywhere to activate these credits to make them pay the monthly bill automatically? And will the whole amount is gonna be taken from these credits or is there an amount limit per month to use credits? Thanks
Hi AWS and AWS users, I am creating CUR(Cost and Usage Report) with the following configurations - Default content - Refresh automatically - Report data time granularity : Hourly - Report versioning : Create new report version with the settings above, I was expecting a single report containing hourly logs to be created when AWS refreshes the CUR(up to 3 times a day). However I am receiving multiple CUR in my bucket such as - 20230312T081141Z - MyCostReport-00001.csv.gz (55.6 MB) - MyCostReport-00002.csv.gz (3.6 MB) - MyCostReport-00003.csv.gz (1.9 KB) - 20230314T152624Z - MyCostReport-00001.csv.gz (58.3 MB) - MyCostReport-00002.csv.gz (58.2 MB) - MyCostReport-00003.csv.gz (4.4 MB) - MyCostReport-00004.csv.gz (1.9 KB) To sum up, I'd like to ask why - Multiple CURs are created (with such different sizes) - Numbers of CURs created are inconsistent (sometimes 3, sometimes 4) I'd appreciate any help possible with the issue. Hi Folks, We have configured AWS Backup service for EC2 service. The scenario is, we have configured AWS backup service for EC2 with volume near 40 GB. The retention policy is 6 days for daily basis we configured. What i want to clarify is, AWS Backup is incremental backup or full backup. If so, incremental backup then why it's taking full volume backup every day. (40GB) How the retention policy worked, if 1st day took full copy of data of Volume that is 40 GB and second day it took incremental backup or full back up? But if we keep 6 days of backup data so that the cost will increase in all 6 days The billing for AWS Backup service is not visible in billing dashboard. So, how do we find out the charges of running backup service?
I no longer need one of my two attached lightsail storage disks. I looked here (https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/docs/en_us/articles/detach-and-delete-block-storage-disks) and read that I should detach the lightsail disk prior to deleting it. I also read that I will continue to be charged for the disk after detaching it until I delete it. I detached the disk, but now it has disappeared from my console, and I see no way to "delete" it. Does my disk still need to be "deleted", and if so, how do I do that?

Being in the AWS Activate startup program, we've been allocated free credits. I know how to setup alerts for billing usage, but how can I setup alerts for credit usage? For example; when credits are 50%-90% depleted I am notified. Thanks
Looking at the Resource summary page for EC2, I just find out that I have VPCs, subnets and security groups active in various AWS regions. I honestly don't remember how I created them so I wonder if they gets created automatically in some way? Do I need them? I only have EC2 instances in us-east-1. Am I going to be charged for them? If so, how can I do some clean-up? Thanks
