I am hosting a couple of websites on Elastic Beanstalk. AWS India now only accepts manual payments at the end of each month. They don't save credit cards and Netbanking payment must be manually approved each time. Due to health issues I am frequently in and out of hospital; last time I was admitted for 2 weeks and when I came back, I found my account got suspended for non payment (and the sites went down). This defeats the very purpose of cloud computing if I have to be constantly around for the bill. Is there any way to automate payments? I tried to get Activate credits but that too got rejected, so I am left with no option now except to make manual payment each time. If automated payments are not possible, some recommendations on alternative providers will be helpful.
Been using AWS Control Tower to provision Organization accounts for awhile now - we have around 10 accounts there. A few days ago we started to migrate customer services there and the accounts are failing to build with an 'enrollment failed' error message and no specifics given. * I have tried to hit up AWS on the support (we don't have any) resource under the accounts sections but have had no response. * I have also tried manually adding in an Org account in order to Set the IAM policy required but when I log in using the root account I am being told that billing has not yet been setup. * Our Orgs are child accounts and billing belongs to the parent (management) account. * We thought that maybe there was quota limits so we upped our Org count but it didn't resolve the issue. * Now today I was asked to update the Control Tower accounts and some have not re-enrolled correctly. * Also can we have a quicker turnaround on closed accounts? This is quite critical to our deployment and its seems to be failing with no changes on our part. Are AWS Control Tower and Organizations not fit for production use?
I was experimenting with OpenSearch serverless service and I can't completely delete the service now that I'm not using it. I deleted all the domains, collections, policies, etc and I'm still being charged for the service. Capacity management is still set to 2 instances but it can't be reduced to 0 or completely delete the service. I'm being charged for the service even though I'm not using it. Any help on how to shut down this service would be helpful because it is eating my budget.
Dear AWS Support Team, We are writing to express our concerns regarding the account suspension we have experienced due to the verification process. We understand the importance of maintaining a secure and reliable platform, but we feel that the current situation is causing unnecessary disruptions to our business operations without providing a clear way forward. We believe that there may be misunderstandings or incorrect information involved in our account's suspension, and we kindly request your assistance in resolving these issues. We are committed to working with the AWS team to provide any necessary documentation or information to clarify our account's standing and ensure compliance with AWS policies. We kindly ask that you review our case and provide us with guidance on the next steps to take in order to reactivate our account. A swift resolution would be greatly appreciated, as it would allow us to continue utilizing the valuable services offered by AWS, and support our business growth and technical requirements. Thank you for your attention to this matter. We hope to find a positive and constructive solution to our account suspension. Sincerely, Mickey Patel
I have two AWS accounts. To take advantage of the unused Reserved Instances in account A (main), I would need to invite account B into its Organization. Is it possible to make it so that accounts remain fully independant except for Billing and Reservations? I don't want account A to have any access/control over account B.

I read this page https://docs.aws.amazon.com/eks/latest/userguide/enable-kms.html, it says that > If you enable secrets encryption for an existing cluster and the KMS key that you use is ever deleted, then there's no way to recover the cluster. If you delete the KMS key, you permanently put the cluster in a degraded state. My question is what does degraded state means ?

I am the owner of the management account for my organization. However, I am unable to view or access the resources (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc) created by a user within my same organization. - Both accounts are in the same organization. - The resources are in us-east-1. I have made sure to select this region when browsing AWS services. - Both accounts have the FullAWSAccess SCP attached. - I tried enabling Tag Policies, tagging all resources with a shared tag, and creating a tag-based resource group. However, only my EC2 instance shows up when I try to create the resource group. - I tried using Resource Access Manager to create a new resource share. However, the wizard results in an error: "Organization o-XXXXXXXXXX could not be found." - I am up to date with my billing. How do I access resources created by other accounts in my organization?
