Setup VPN Site to Site backup DirectConnect
We have setup 1 DX with Private virtual interface attached directly to Virtual Private Gateway (without Transit Gateway and Direct Connect Gateway). In addition, we have 1 Site to Site VPN as backup (static routing). We have a few questions as follows: 1. Which routes will take precedence by default in Virtual Private Gateway ( BGP DX propagated route or static VPN propagated route) ? How we can change this if they have same prefix? 2. If DX down, it will be automatic failover to VPN in Virtual Private Gateway or we need config more? Thank you for your helping!!!
How to switch from AISPL to AWS account?
I made a Lex Bot and now I want to integrate it with Amazon Connect so that I can make an IVR. Yesterday when I was doing that then an error came as Indian AWS accounts are administered through ASIPL, not AWS, The error screenshot is provided below: ![Error](/media/postImages/original/IMP2sOvtpGTpGFFmzsCQoZ1A) I have checked the same thing on the web and on repost itself but I haven't gotten any particular answer. So, can anyone please give me a workaround on how to access Connect from India? Can I get a US based account from India itself?

Are there additional ways to diagnose packetloss over a direct connect other than traffic mirroring on an instance?
I have a direct connect set up with multiple VPCs routed to/from the networks on the link. For the most part, the vast majority of traffic goes through just fine, however I have identified many intermittent cases where packets are just disappearing somewhere between our colo's direct connect interface port and the interface of the instance that the traffic is destined for. I have used traffic mirroring to confirm that the packets are not reaching the ENI of the target instance, however there are many other packets destined for other systems in the same VPC in the same ~1ms window that are reaching those instances just fine. I have also identified other cases where other instances do not receive a packet, but the initial one does. It seems to be very random and not instance specific. I have confirmed that our utilization is well below half of the circuit speed (~300mbps on a 1 gig), and the packets per second are relatively low overall (<20kpps), so I don't *think* it's a congestion issue on the link itself. Can anyone point me in a direction to further troubleshoot this and identify where the packets are getting lost?
How does Dx-connect gateway does path preference
Hi All, I need your help in understanding the path selection algorithm associated with DX-connect gateway. I have a DX-connect gateway connect with my on-premises environment using 4 DX-connects links from different DX-connect location with different latencies. I want my 1st link to be primary 2nd to be secondary and so on, to do so I am doing AS-Path prepending from onPrem routes for the prefix advertisement towards DX-connect link, but looks like it is not effective and AWS is still doing multipathing. So wanted to know 1) is there anyway to see the prefixes being received from OnPrem router in the DX-connect? 2) How does path selection work at DX-connect? 3) Can I manipulate path selection from AWS side as well or it just the onPrem router to do everything for inbound and outbound both? Please help to understand this. Thanks,
Hello, I need to attach Transit gateway to below AWS services within MUMBAI region > two VPC across two AZs > two direct connect ports attached to direct connect gateway > One IPsec VPN Tunnel Questions > Will above be treated as attachments (2 VPC + 1 Direct connect+1 IPsec ) > Will there be data transfer charges for inter VPC traffic across AZs as I understand data transfer is now free across AZs https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2022/04/aws-data-transfer-price-reduction-privatelink-transit-gateway-client-vpn-services/ > So , will the data processing charges for transit gateway only be applicable for IN OUT traffic flowing from Direct connect towards VPC?
