Sharing Amazon Managed Grafana Dashboards: How to authorize someone to view?
I have used Amazon Managed Grafana to create a dashboard that I would like to share with a friend. I selected "share" and created a link. However, when my friend attempts to open the link, they are redirected to: >Welcome to Amazon Managed Grafana >Sign in with AWS IAM Identity Center So here's where I am confused. Does my friend have to create an AWS IAM Identity center account to view the dashboard? How would they go about doing that? Cheers, David
Connecting Managed Grafana to Aurora PostgreSQL RDS database on a private subnet
Hello, I am trying to connect to an Aurora RDS cluster located in our private subnets from our managed grafana as a data source. I have created a Managed Grafana Interface VPC endpoint in the RDS cluster VPC, and for the same region our managed grafana was created at (for `com.amazonaws.us-east-2.grafana` service). I have also attached this endpoint to all the private subnets the RDS cluster's subnet group is configured on. When I test the connection to our RDS cluster in Grafana it fails with the following text: ``` <html> <head><title>504 Gateway Time-out</title></head> <body> <center><h1>504 Gateway Time-out</h1></center> </body> </html> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> Gateway Time-out ``` I'm specifying the endpoint and port of a reader instance, which otherwise being accessed from our bastion host is reachable. The reader instance's VPC security group allows TCP incoming traffic from `0.0.0.0/0` towards port `5432` and allows all outbound traffic. What could be the problem with my setup? Thank you for your time.
Connecting to Aurora PostgreSQL RDS database on a private subnet using RDS Proxy
Hello, I am not comfortable housing my RDS Database on a public subnet so it can be accessed by Managed Grafana. Has anyone ever successfully utilized an RDS Proxy to connect to a Database on a private subnet from Managed Grafana? If so I would love some direction on how this was accomplished.
Twinmaker Grafana dashboard icon color rule
Hi, i have a problem regarding the visualization of icons in the aws managed grafana dashboard. I have setup a color rule in iot twinmaker which should change the color of a tag (the icon) when a certain state is met. The rule definitely works, because when I setup the rule to just change to a different icon, I can see the change in the scene viewer in the grafana dashboard. But if setup a color in a state, the icons are just invisible. ![Rule](/media/postImages/original/IMgZCghIfGQeyX6GWOl04gEw) ![Tag in scene](/media/postImages/original/IMNpekowGiQ8uc3dOrkxLE9A) I hope this is the right place to ask.. If you need more context, please ask.
Athena + CUR report in Grafana - How to calculate relative time (last month)?
Stack - Managed Grafana + Athena and CUR as data. I'm currently calculating my billing cost using `$__timeFilter(line item usage start date) ` in my query. I'd like to compute the exact cost between the same days in the previous month as well. For example `$__timeFilter(line item usage start date) ` output: `select SUM(line_item_blended_cost + discount_total_discount) from yad2_billing_reports where line_item_usage_start_date BETWEEN TIMESTAMP '2022-08-01 14:56:16' AND TIMESTAMP '2022-08-08 14:56:16'` I would like to get : `select SUM(line_item_blended_cost + discount_total_discount) from yad2_billing_reports where line_item_usage_start_date BETWEEN TIMESTAMP '2022-07-01 14:56:16' AND TIMESTAMP '2022-08-08 14:56:16'`
