Newbie here :) I created an S3 bucket and then wrote a basic PHP script that uploads a file into the bucket. The script successfully connects to the bucket and uploads the file. But, when I log into my AWS console as a Root user, I am unable to see the bucket when I go to the S3 service and click on buckets. If I try to create a new bucket with the same name used for the original bucket, it won't let me... saying that the bucket already exists with that name. Halllllp please :(

I know how to release a host. I am not trying to release a host. I am trying to DELETE a host. Why can't I DELETE a host? Are they designed to just stack up and accumulate ad nauseam or is there a way to get rid of them? https://us-west-2.console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/home?region=us-west-2#Hosts:

When I click forgot password to try to reset, it says "Server Error. There was an error with your request. Please try again later." Same thing for over 24 hours. Any recommendations? Thx in advance. -- I deleted the user and directory and tried again. With new email at the screen where I create password for first time getting the same error right now. I'm trying to launch an instance, but it's failing with the message "This account is currently blocked and not recognized as a valid account. Please contact aws-verification@amazon.com if you have questions." I'm not sure what's going on, because I've never had any problems with this account before. Can you help me fix this?

I have recently used a 100% AWS associate voucher to book an exam schedule on VUE. However, I would like to cancel this schedule to take back the voucher and apply the voucher to my friend's account. Is this possible? If so, what are the steps I need to follow? I appreciate your assistance and prompt response on this matter.

I received an email from AWS entitled "Update Root User Email Address for AWS Account". I'm trying to understand what it's actually asking me to do. The complete body of the email is below. Is it saying that I'm using the same email address for AWS (the cloud platform) and Amazon.com (the store) and that I need to change the email address in AWS to something different? I find this message *incredibly* difficult to parse. > You are receiving this message because we have identified that you are currently using the same email address for this AWS account (as listed in the Subject line) and for additional AWS account(s), which are associated with your Amazon.com account. We strongly recommend that you update the root user email address [1] for this AWS account as soon as possible to separate access to your additional AWS account(s) linked to your Amazon.com account. If you do not take any action by April 10, 2023, we will require you to update your email before accessing this AWS account when you sign in next to your account. > > After you have changed the root user email address for this account, you will be able to use it to access your account. At that point, we can finish separating your additional AWS account(s) from your Amazon.com account. > > The following are your additional AWS account(s) linked to your Amazon.com account: > 999999999999 > > After you receive a confirmation email from no-reply@update.signin.aws, you can then sign in with the existing root email address for the additional AWS Account(s) and access new features. This can include enhancing the security of your sign-in experience with other Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) device types, including hardware security keys [2], and monitoring root user activity through AWS CloudTrail [3].

I've registered to Dedicated IP Managed service. Added 1 Dedicated IPs managed pool. Added this pool to the configuration set, and started to use this set when sending emails from my website. Hover emails still seems to be sent from old IPs, event these that seem to be on blacklists. I'm not sending a lot of emails, from few hundred a day to max 5-6 thousands. How can I check what IPs are added to my Managed pool? There is some link to cloudwatch but I cannot find anything in there. Also I don't think I would need mora than 1 IP, as I said I'm not sanding too many emails. AWS is recommending to stay with shared IPs, but it is not a good choice for me, as shared IPs are constantly being added to blacklists, and I have problems with some of IPS like hotmail, yahoo, icloud. Even if I have configured spf, dkim, dmarc properly.

My organization has a few users who were using AWS before we officially began managing it. Their accounts are using the same domain as us, but we're unable to see which users these are. Is there a way to see these users? What happens to these users login when we enable SSO?

When I open Lambda console as a root user, I immediately get a 403 error in web console and a red empty bar appears on top. After that when I click "Create Function", web console shows AccessDeniedException: null message for both Root user and Administrative Access user. If I try to create function anyways, nothing happens. SCPs are disabled.
