I am currently migrating onpremise servers to AWS using Application migraiton Service. The agents were deployed on the servers. The migration is being done over a site to site VPN.
OS version reported in MGN console is: **Linux version 3.10.0-1160.81.1.el7.x86_64 (mockbuild@kbuilder.bsys.centos.org) (gcc version 4.8.5 20150623 (Red Hat 4.8.5-44) (GCC) ) #1 SMP**
The initial Sync is 100% complete but the status is stuck on "Creating Snapshot" since the last 12 hours. There are no errors in the console. For surely it doesnt take more than 12 hours to create a snapshot. Can someone please advise me what I need to do and what I need to check to progress this?

I been messing around with AWS Application Migration Service and I noticed that when Cutover/Test server is launched there is no KeyPair. I checked the launch template and there is no option to create keypair. Any idea on this?

I am migrating server to AWS through MGN. Server has 2 disks 100 GB and 800 GB. Now, the used space on the drivers is 69 and 570 GB respectively. As I understand MGN replicates data on block level, my query is does MGN copies/replicates the blocks of free disk space as well? If yes, does it takes same time to copy actual data and free blocks on drive. My assumption MGN allocates EBS based and total disk space and will copy only used data blocks. Please help to understand. Thanks.

I want to migrate EC2 Instance from one account to another with Elastic IP Address
We have installed agent in virtual machine successfully but getting error error is- Data replication stalled Failed to launch Replication Server. We already allowed the port 443 and 1500 to local windows firewall and their existing pfsense. Can someone explain why I get this error and where I can look to correct it? The "How can I solve this?" takes you to general troubleshooting and none of the troubleshooting topics have this error.. Thank you! We're having issues with MGN replication intermittently becoming Stalled and snapshots being days old due to sync lag. More details below.
We're using MGN (agent based) to migrate on prem servers to AWS. We're replicating anywhere between 10 and 30 source servers at a time. At any given time there are 1-5 servers in a "stalled" state. This happens after the servers have been successfully replicating for days. No changes are made to the source or destination environments when this occurs. Usually this resolve on it's own without any intervention on our part and the servers start reporting as healthy again. However it doesn't always resolve on it's own and ideally shouldn't be occurring at all. Any idea what could be causing this or where to start troubleshooting? It's starting to impact our test and cut over procedures as we can't always launch instances from snapshots that are hours or days old.
What if an existing instance on another cloud platform contains the same drive letter as the default/temp disk of the AWS virtual machine? Before migrating, is it possible to modify the default drive? What will occur if we fail to update the drive letter?
I want to rehost DB to EC2 using MGN. After running the installer command for Replication Agent, i got this error "Failed to identify volume with AWS Replication Agent". This server is 1 of 2 nodes of Oracle DB clustering.
Oracle Linux 6.2, Oracle DB 11.2 Standard

We are planning to do lift and shift windows 7 and windows 10. so i have two questions
1- Is it possible to do lift and shift to windows 7 and Windows 10 as on prem there are so production applications are running.
2- How do i calculate and prepare estimation for the lift and shift please advise

I'm testing MGN service with agentless method. I've configured the service in an onpremise VM, discovery runs OK, but when I start a replication, I get stalled at "Failed to authenticate with service".
For what I was able to troubleshoot, I think the problem is that the replication server cannot download the agent from the s3 bucket.
I've configured an s3 interface endpoint on my VPC, is there a way to make MGN use it? editing the vcenter-client.config and adding the proper s3 url endpoint?
