Quicksight: Calculation Field - decimal places truncated
I am posting a question which is related to a dashboard development on Quicksight. It includes a calculation field which uses sumover's in a sumover. However, I encountered a problem that Quicksight can't produce accurate result when it take multiplication operations on two float number fields. I am sharing a simple example to describe the problem. As you see, there would be two steps in the calculation. I.e. 1.) sum(cost)/sum(cost2), and 2.) pre-result * 10,000. I suspect the float number is truncated in the first step so that the displayed result is not accurate. ![Enter image description here](https://repost.aws/media/postImages/original/IMeZtCDOpQSkKAgwK-1-Uk7Q) I tried some workaround solutions. E.g. re-write the calculation as sum(cost)*10000/sum(cost2). It seems to be using much a lot computation power; thus, this workaround results in overflow error in my real case. Note: the 10,000 in my real case is not constant.

Difficulty understanding QuickSight pricing
I have a public, static website where I want to display embedded QuickSight charts. My data are in s3. I estimate the site will display around a dozen or so charts sprinkled across a few pages. The site is initially a low traffic site, starting at around 50 unique views per day with it hopefully eventually ramping up to 1000 views plus per day. I am the only developer. I'm confused with the pricing model listed in the official [pricing page](https://aws.amazon.com/quicksight/pricing/). I have the following questions: 1. Do public embedded charts and/or dashboards require me to choose the enterprise edition? 2. Is QuickSight really built for public access? Does each unique visitor count as a "reader?" 3. If the answer to the second question on #2 is yes, does this mean each visitor initiates a session? 4. Is QuickSight even appropriate for my use case?
Connecting Users to AWS Athena and AWS Lake Formation via Tableau Desktop using the Simba Athena JDBC Driver and Okta as Identity Provider
Hello, due to the following Step by Step Guide provided by the official AWS Athena user-guide (Link at the End of the question), it should be possible to connect Tableau Desktop to Athena and Lake Formation via the Simba Athena JDBC Driver using Okta as Idp. The challenge that I am facing right now, is although i followed each step as documented in the Athena user-guide i can not make the connection work. The error message that i recieve whenever i try to connect Tableau Desktop states: > [Simba][AthenaJDBC](100071) An error has been thrown from the AWS Athena client. The security token included in the request is invalid. [Execution ID not available] Invalid Username or Password. My athena.properties file to configure the driver on the Tableau via connection string URL looks as follows (User Name and Password are masked): ``` jdbc:awsathena://AwsRegion=eu-central-1; S3OutputLocation=s3://athena-query-results; AwsCredentialsProviderClass=com.simba.athena.iamsupport.plugin.OktaCredentialsProvider; idp_host=1234.okta.com; Useremail@example.com; Password=******************; app_id=****************************; ssl_insecure=true; okta_mfa_type=oktaverifywithpush; LakeFormationEnabled=true; ``` The configuration settings used in here are from the official Simba Athena JDBC driver documentation (Version: 2.0.31). Furthermore i assigned the required permissions for my users and groups inside Lake Formation as stated in the Step by Step guide linked below. Right now I am not able to point out why I am not able to make the connection work. So I would be very greatful for any support / idea to find a solution on that topic. AWS Quicksight Access - via Amazon Active Directory AND IAM Roles
We are looking to expand services via AWS Quicksight, our use case would include Amazon subsidiary users who can be both in Amazon network and not. My question is it possible to setup new AWS accounts to allow BOTH Active Directory (for in network users) and unique IAM roles (for subsidiary/off-network users)? If not what are the options to allow this type of access using SSO where possible.

Quick sight Embedding error in London Region
I have created an Html page in an s3 bucket and made the bucket public. when I tried embedding the quicksight dashboard in the Virginia region, it all works seamlessly. But the same thing when I created the s3 bucket, API gateway, and lambda in the London region, I am getting the below error in the iframe. **Refused to frame 'https://eu-west-2.quicksight.aws.amazon.com/' because an ancestor violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "frame-ancestors** Can anyone assist me with this?
Multidata architecture help
How can I setup the datapipeline to help us setup a way to query 30-60 like databases. Currently we are using a connector to replicate data from all our locations to RDS MySQL db. We are wanting to use Quicksights to query Sets of data from all the RDS Sources brought into the RDS MySQL db. Would love some guidance on how we can accomplish this. I appreciate all of you brilliant people out there
