Hi, I made a template of QuickSight but can't create analysis by CLI using the template. The CLI read the json input which has "Permissions>Principal" section, but the value seems to be for IAM users. https://awscli.amazonaws.com/v2/documentation/api/latest/reference/quicksight/create-analysis.html I think Active Directory users doesn't have IAM privilege and don't know what to set "Principal" for the users. Hi, I try to use QuickSight with Active Directory. QuickSight should have VPC connection setting to connect with Redshift inside VPC, so I tried to configure but I couldn't do it in a weird way. https://ap-northeast-1.quicksight.aws.amazon.com/sn/admin#vpc-connections After push the add button, It showed an AWS login screen. Then login with a root account, backing to the setting screen, it refreshed a few times. I just tried to input the setting but they were vanished. After a few seconds, the screen changed to an error page, which said "Invalid account". I think AD admin user doesn't have permission to change VPC settings, so I was required to login with an authorized account. But the screen doesn't look to work normally in this case? Hi, The dashboard I created is used by multiple groups of users. Every group applies certain filters (chooses parameters) to view the data they need. I would like to: 1. Setup an email report with parameters (filters) set to specific values. In the email report, the parameters are set to their default value. This works fine when I use the export option: the PDF that is generated is created using the parameter values that I selected. 2. Setup multiple email reports, with every report being sent to one group of users. Currently, I can only create one report. When I try to create a new one, the existing report is overwritten. Hi, I've already created a QuickSight account with a VPC connection setting to Redshift and got connected successfully. I removed the QuickSight account and re-created an account with Managed Microsoft Active Directory authentication method. Then I cannot connect to Redshift when creating a data soure with a timeout error. The VPC setting is the same as when without Active Directory. - the same subnet id - the same security group id - DNS resolver is blank How should I change the VPN setting or anything to get successfully connected with Redshift? Hi, I want to change the login method of QuickSight from the normal to Active Directory related. There's no option to switch in QuickSight, so I tried to recreate the QuickSight account. I deleted the account and tried to re-create the account with the same account name, it said "The provided account name is not available". How long should I wait for reuse the account name in QuickSight? Or I misunderstand something about recreation? Thanks,lg...

After chose Enterprise and "Use Active Directory" ub Create your QuickSight account page, I couldn't get the list of directories. It shows No directories available. Push "Refresh list" button many times but no effect.
