Is there a public API I can poll for server/region degradations?
I've found https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status and https://docs.aws.amazon.com/health/latest/APIReference/Welcome.html I'm trying to scan regions/instance/servers types for degradations from a public API. Is this possible? I'm looking for something that'll tell me when there's hints at region network issues, servers are being slow to respond or anything that'll count as a degradation.
AWS Codebuild Projects stuck in SUBMITTED Status. Outage?
All of our codebuild jobs have been stuck in Submitted phase (the Queued phase is shown with no status). They worked earlier in the day and we haven't changed anything about the configuration I've checked and there's no outage reported on the AWS health page. Is there an unreported codebuild outage?
AWS - AHA schedule changes RSS/lambda
Hello, I am asking if there is an RSS link for the schedule changes on **AHA ****dashboards**? If yes, please provide me with that link. If not, I am thinking about if I can configure a lambda function, or a trigger using the CloudBridge for example, that will scan the schedule changes page, if this trigger finds any event with a specific status, like (**Schedule**) that will send an alarm/notification for MS Teams, for example. Is this configuration able to apply?

AHA logs - how to receive "affected resources" in logs
The AHA (AWS health) logs don't have information about affected resources (id, name, arn, etc.) The only information is the phrase in latestDescriptionactualog . 'Your affected EC2 instance(s) are listed in the "Affected Resources" Tab.'. Is there something to be modified in the future so we can have check in the same log the resource id?
Does Route53 Health checks Charge hourly also?

Will it charge hourly also ? or Does it charged basis on hours also? Suppose i have used it for 1 day only then deleted the health check. How AWS will calculate the price for this?
AWS Exposed Keys Alerts
AWS has a mechanism that detects exposed/compromised AWS API keys found in public github repos. I have seen several areas in which AWS or third parties will state that a `PutUserPolicy` action will be initiated if this occurs and a policy called `AWSExposedCredentialPolicy_DO_NOT_REMOVE` will be applied to the user. Places this policy comes up include: * https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/potential-account-compromise/ * https://github.com/aws-samples/aws-customer-playbook-framework/blob/main/docs/Compromised_IAM_Credentials.md/ * https://github.com/panther-labs/panther-analysis/blob/master/aws_cloudtrail_rules/aws_key_compromised.py However, I took the liberty of exposing a static AWS API user key in a public repo (the key had no permissions). Here's what actually happened: 1. The action taken was `AttachUserPolicy`. 2. The policy was a managed policy: `AWSCompromisedKeyQuarantineV2`. So whats accurate? When if ever will AWSExposedCredentialPolicy_DO_NOT_REMOVE occur? If AWSExposedCredentialPolicy_DO_NOT_REMOVE doesn't occur, why do these researchers believe this and why can't AWS update their information?

How to check if the OS upgrade is complete
hello. Events related to OS upgrade have been confirmed as shown below. > Health Events > Here is a summary of the milestones related to the OS upgrade. * You can now initiate OS upgrades at any time on Amazon RDS for affected MariaDB DB instances until August 31, 2022 at 9:01 AM KST. * After August 31, 2022 at 9:01 AM KST, Amazon RDS will automatically upgrade the MariaDB DB instance's OS to the latest version within the maintenance window. **RDS Settings** - Engine Version: MariaDB 10.4.21 - Class: db.m5.xlarge - Minor version auto-upgrade enabled. There was maintenance work, so I applied it right away. - Recommendation type applied: Enhanced monitoring off Pending maintenance tasks are not checked in the RDS console. How can I check if the upgrade is complete? For RDS Mariadb, how do I check for recommendations? https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/USER_UpgradeDBInstance.Maintenance.html#USER_UpgradeDBInstance.Maintenance.Multi-AZ Thank you.
RDS (OS) update is available - Don´t see it in RDS Dashboard
Hello there, we got a notification in AWS Health Dashboard that a OS update is available for three RDS Databases. The problem is, i don´t see a Update avaiable in the RDS Dashboard under "Pending maintenance". Furthermore, i don´t see any update event log with AWS CLI command "aws rds describe-events". Also no update to see with AWS CLI command "aws rds describe-pending-maintenance-actions". Therefore the question, is the OS update still remaining or did it happend? Maybe i look at the wrong place?
